Ignorance Is Bliss: Systematic Techniques to Navigate Uncertainty and Manage Risk 

Lawrence T. Kissko is a Principal and the Head of U.S. Client Portfolio Management for Man AHL. He joined the firm in July 2014.

Before joining Man AHL, Mr. Kissko was a partner, member of the investment committee, and head of Macro and Systematic strategies at Hermes BPK Partners.

Previously, Mr. Kissko was at BlackRock, Inc., where he was a director of the Alternative Advisors team and responsible for due diligence coverage of Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), macro and quantitative strategies. Mr. Kissko joined BlackRock, Inc. via a merger with Merrill Lynch, where he held a similar role with due diligence responsibilities for CTA and macro strategies.

Prior to that, Mr. Kissko was an associate at Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. in both the Deutsche Bank Advisors and Strategic Equity Transactions groups. He’s also worked at PaineWebber Incorporated as an investment banking analyst within the Commercial Real Estate group.

Mr. Kissko received a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
