PFC Foundational Training: Verbal Intervention Techniques 

This training will help people intentionally respond in a way that will increase their ability to have a positive outcome and to control their own emotions. This is done by:

• Understanding what affects how we respond.
• Preparing yourself for a negative interaction.
• Get activated: Present intentional responses to specific behaviors.

Christian Milovich is a Training Specialist at Oaklawn Psychiatric Center. He has worked for 19 consecutive years in community mental health services in direct care as a case manager, wraparound facilitator, supervisor for C&A clinical skills training services, and educating Oaklawn staff and community partners to help make our community a better place for all.
