Person-centered planning is an approach to working with the people we support as equal partners in planning, developing and monitoring their support to make sure it meets their needs. This means putting people and their families at the center of decisions and seeing them as experts, working alongside professionals to get the best outcome. Being compassionate, thinking about things from the person's point of view and being respectful are all important practices in achieving meaningful success.
Please note, as mentioned in the training handbook, there is a maximum registration of four people per agency. Kindly confirm with your training coordinator that this limit has been honored. When exceeded, we will need to cancel the extra registrants based on the time and date stamp.
Please let us know two weeks before the event if you need an accommodation so that we may do our best to meet that need.
The link to "Join the Meeting" will be emailed on the day of the event. Please log on 10-15 minutes early to ensure connectivity. All trainings start on time and the room locks automatically.
