Larina Hawkins
Larina's first and most profound experiences of ecstatic dance were at Kalani, on the Big Island, where annual ecstatic dance retreats have been held. She has also participated in workshops in Soul Motion™ with Vinn Marti and Yoga Trance Dance with Shiva Rea which have informed her dance practice, opening up pathways to creativity, freedom and bliss. It is her intent to hold space for all to explore and discover their authentic movement, guided by their individual spirit within the framework of community.
Larina is 200HR certified through Yoga Alliance and also holds a certification in Yoga Trance Dance™ with Shiva Rea.

Join dancers from around the world as we enter this virtual dance portal of letting go, guided by the rhythms of music. It's a moving meditation practice that can be liberating, freeing and cathartic! Have fun playing with virtual backgrounds, disco lights & bring your pets/kids! All are welcome!
Larina and Murti have been holding Ecstatic Dance regularly on the island of Oahu, Hawaii for the past 11 years, with the longest running and most consistent events.
New to the practice? No experience is necessary, just a willingness to let go and move your body, guided by the music which is carefully selected. Ecstatic Dance is free-form movement where we allow our bodies to express themselves without an agenda. It's a moving meditation practice that merges inner with outer worlds and encourages and celebrates connection between body and spirit.
Enjoy continuous music designed to take you on a cathartic ecstatic dance journey! Larina's music sets/playlists are designed to open up pathways to creativity, freedom and bliss.
Feel free to wear clothing that is comfortable for movement - such as yoga clothes, or dance clothes.
