Fall Family Fridays!
Treasure Hunt
Friday, Oct 8th, 2021 | 5:00 pm - 7:00pm
Families will love spending valuable time together in nature while treasure hunting! Like geocaching, families will search for hidden treasures guided by GPS devices or paper maps Howell Nature Center Treasure Hunts are self-sustaining, and participants who plan on keeping a few treasure are asked to leave a few treasures of their own behind! Treasures should be appropriate for school and should fit inside of a mason jar. Treasure examples: bouncy ball, army men, or anything that the next person might find interesting.
Recommended age 5+
Must be capable of walking 1 - 2 miles of trail
Pre-registration Required
General Admission: $12 per person
Member Admission: $10 per person
To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we are following the below protocols:
- We will be maintaining small group sizes
- Encouraging social distancing between unrelated groups
- All HNC staff will wear masks
- Guests are required to wear masks when indoors at all times, and outdoors when 6ft social distancing is not possible.
Event meets in the Courtyard. In general, we ask that all particpants wear appropriate footware and apparel for the weather.
