SAME Sacramento Post 2021 Golf Tournament

Registration Opens at 7:30 AM; Shotgun start at 9:00 AM

The Sacramento Post welcomes you to our 2021 Golf Tournament. The course has taken extra steps to ensure we will all be safe and keep our distance from each other, but still have a fun day. Your registration includes green fee, use of driving range prior to the start of the tournament, breakfast, beverages on course, lunch, fun contests, prizes and more. We are anticipating a 9:00 AM shotgun start. Proceeds will go to the Post's Scholarship Fund.

There are several ways to support the event. These include:

  • Register to play. Don't have a foursome? We will pair other individuals to help you form a team.
  • Be a sponsor. There are several levels of sponsorships to showcase your firm including day of event activities to networking with attendees. Note, all sponsorships do not require day of participation.
  • Donate a door prize.
  • Purchase door prize tickets (you do not need to be present to win).
  • Assist in planning for the event and/or come out to assist with day of activities. All planning meetings held virtually. You can help support the event without physically attending the tournament.

The safety of all players and volunteers are of the highest priority. The Sacramento Post has altered the format of the tournament to comply with State/County mandated safety and social distancing requirements, including:

  • All participants are encouraged to wear masks while congregating around groups (e.g., during registration) and other public areas (e.g., club house, restrooms, snack bar, etc.) .
  • Limited on-course games/contests at specified holes which can be done safely and with the players’ own equipment.
  • Registration and tickets for any item or event will require a separate ticket (i.e. raffle, mulligans, etc.) and will be handled online to the greatest extent possible.
  • Modified on-course beverage ice chests/cooler distribution to maximize social distancing. Expanded beverage distribution through the use of single individuals operating beverage carts on the course.
  • Outdoor lunch BBQ with required social distancing and limits the number of individuals being served at any time.

Prior to the event, all players and volunteers will be provided a detailed summary of COVID-19 safety guidelines and procedures that will need to be followed, as well as a detailed summary of the day's events.
