Nature Walk at Sumner Peck Ranch and Ledger Island

Join us for this free nature walk from Sumner Peck Ranch to Ledger Island! Ledger Island is home to historic Native American grinding holes, a riparian oak forest, and salmon spawning sites.  You'll look for wildlife, learn about the local environment, and enjoy the fall weather on this ~2 hour hike.

We will be meeting at Sumner Peck Ranch (11439 N. Friant Rd) at 9:00 am.  Please park along the dirt road when you first drive into Sumner Peck.  Hike may be anywhere from 1.5-3 miles in length and will last approximately 2 hours.  Please dress appropriately for a day outdoors (long pants, closed toed shoes, etc.) and bring sunscreen, binoculars, and water.  This is a rain or shine event.  Children 12+ welcome.
