Federal Budgeting 101

The federal government will spend more than $63 trillion over the next decade while raising $51 trillion in tax revenue. As a result, the national debt is headed for a new record, and Congress may look to borrow trillions more in the coming years. But just how big is the budget, where do tax dollars go, and what are the public’s government spending preferences?

Please join ActiVote and Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget for Federal Budgeting 101. At this event, we’ll give an overview of the federal budget, show how you can make your budgeting priorities known, and answer your questions.
