DDS will be offering new service options for individuals. These are Assistive Technology and Remote Supports and Monitoring. This training will provide an overview of what Assistive Technology (AT) is, the ISP team's role in assisting individuals to recognize the benefit of AT, identifying areas of need for AT, and how to explore options.
There will also be an overview of how AT and Remote Supports and Monitoring are used in combination to support an individual to live more independently.
An outline of the referral process to support individuals to access AT and Remote Supports and Monitoring services will conclude the training.
This is not a mandatory training. This training is being offered on three different dates. This one is for November 8th 2021. You only need to register for one.
