Your Health & Safety - COVID Guidance

In our industry, health and safety come first. UAPA is therefore committed to following current guidance of the CDC, state and local authorities, and the Mountain America Expo Center. Please review this information to familiarize yourself with this guidance. (January 11, 2022)

Please do not attend if:

• You are sick or experiencing symptoms.
• You tested positive and haven’t ended isolation (even if you are fully vaccinated).
• You are waiting for test results. If your test comes back positive while you are at your destination, you will need to isolate and postpone your return until it’s safe for you to end isolation. Your travel companions may need to self-quarantine.

Vaccinations & Boosters

While not required to attend our 2022 Utah Asphalt Conference, UAPA encourages all eligible attendees to be vaccinated and boosted at least two weeks prior to the conference.

Masks

There is a mask mandatory indoor mask mandate for all of Salt Lake County. The Mountain America Expo Center is subject to this mandate and is requiring all attendees, visitor, guests, and patrons to the facility to utilize a face covering while indoors. Face mask requirement signage will be deployed within the facility and UAPA will provide a mask to any attendee that may need one upon request.

Safety On Site

1. Be aware that people may have different comfort levels regarding personal interactions.
2. Sneeze or cough into your elbow, not your hand.
3. Wash your hands regularly.
4. Hand sanitizer will be readily available.
5. Additional and enhanced cleaning practices at the Mountain America Expo Center.
