A Global Leadership Summit in the Mountains - Join Us!

The DISES 2022 Global Leadership Summit is a unique opportunity for shared collaboration among professionals, policy makers, researchers, parents and others for supporting ALL learners. The event will take the form of both a leadership summit and round table. Round table strands include: Leadership, Policy, Practice, Research, and Advocacy. 

At the summit, DISES will also be celebrating 33 years of international advocacy, leadership, and knowledge exchange in the field of international special education. We thank our members and colleagues around the world for supporting the DISES mission and vision. 

Bring the family if you wish. Arrive before the Summit or stay afterward to enjoy the wealth of fun summer activiites, the restaurants, and many entertainment venues situated close by. The Beaver Run Hotel & Conference Center provides a free shuttle into town!

Conference Registration Cancellation Policy

 IMPORTANT: All requests for cancellations must be sent to: Breckenridge Summit Committee at info@dises.org in order to receive any reimbursement. Refunds will not be processed until after the event when conference accounts have been reconciled. 

  • Participants who cancel by January 31, 2020 will be entitled to a full refund of their registration fee less a $50 administrative fee.
  • Participants who cancel between January 31 and March 15, 2020 will be entitled to a 80% refund of their registration fee less a $50 administrative fee.
  • Participants who cancel between March 15 and April 30, 2020 will be entitled to a 50% refund of their registration fee less a $50 administrative fee.
  • No refunds are possible for cancellations received after April 30, 2020.
  • Refunds for no shows are not possible.
