Canine Emergency Care for K9 Handlers
Focuses on canine handlers who are either actively handling or training to handle a working canine as well as tactical medical providers routinely engaged in canine operations. This program includes 120 minutes of didactic instruction followed by 60 minutes of practical stations. This program had been approved by MPOETC (Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission) for 3 CLEE credit hours under class CLE00768.
