Prayer 101 

Our semester continues with a second series, Prayer 101, led by our own Rabbi Tow.

Beginning November 10 and extending through January, this course will be an in-depth exploration of Jewish prayer.

Classes will be held Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm, Eastern Time (US and Canada).

Engaging with loci of prayer
Praying and being prayerful
Praying as an individual and as a community
Session 2: Introduction to Jewish Prayer - Wednesday, November 17
The many types of prayers: praise, petition, thanksgiving
Sources of prayer: personal, Bible, Rabbinic, Siddur
 Traditional structure of prayers during a day
