Trauma Sensitive Schools

January 18, 2022

Unaddressed trauma can lead to violence, therefore, providing support for students is critical. This workshop will define trauma, give examples of how it can manifest in the classroom and school building, and offer practical tips on how educators can incorporate trauma-sensitive practices and perspectives into the classroom and school community.

Participants will receive 3 PD credits upon completion of the 3 hour workshop. You will be required to fill out a short survey after the workshop and will not be given a certificate without completion of the survey.

This workshop is free for educators.

This is an interactive online workshop that will be hosted via Zoom. You will need access to the camera and microphone from your device.

"NO SHOW" Policy: If you register and do not attend the workshop, we will notify you that you have been placed on the "No Show" list. Should this occur THREE times, you will be removed from our email list and all future registrations will be canceled.

Since spots are very limited, we ask that if you cannot make it to the workshop, you please cancel with us up to the day before so that others have the opportunity to attend and you not be placed on the "No Show" list.

If the workshop is filled, please enter your information into our waitlist HERE

To cancel your registration please reach out to Bobby Espinoza at respinoza@njsbf.org.
