 Identifying and Responding to Stalking

Wednesday, January 12, 2022

1:00 p.m.- 3:45 p.m. (EST)

Stalking is a recognized as a lethality factor in domestic violence situations, and technology is the abuser's best friend. As technology continues to advance rapidly, advocates and survivors face serious challenges with staying up-to-date on the latest strategies that people who batter and stalk use technology to abuse and control others.

This virtual training explores techniques used by offenders to create fear and emotional distress for their current or former intimate partners. You will learn about effective interventions to hold more offenders accountable, safety planning strategies to keep victims safe, and the ways technological advances can be used against survivors to abuse, monitor, and control.
