San Diego Forward: The 2021 Regional Transit Plan

"Every four years, SANDAG prepares and updates a Regional Plan in collaboration with the 18 cities and County of San Diego along with regional, state, and federal partners. The Plan answers questions like: What do we want our region to look like in 2050 and beyond? Where will we live? How will we get around? How can we grow in a way that fuels our economy, preserves our environment, takes everyone's needs into account, and still maintains our quality of life? San Diego Forward: The 2021 Regional Plan tackles these questions and provides a blueprint for a sustainable future for the San Diego region."

Our Speaker:

Tuere Fa’aola is a Principal Regional Planner for Sustainable Communities section where she oversees work on the Regional Plan, housing, equity, and climate resilience. She joined SANDAG after working many years in the private sector leading major transportation, transit and land use, and multimodal projects in Southern California as a consultant. In addition to leading the Sustainable Communities section, Tuere was the co-lead for the Complete Corridors element of the 5 Big Moves. She also serves on SANDAG’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council

Registration Waiver and Fees (see note below): COVID WAIVERS: By registering to attend this event in-person, you agree to adhere to any local COVID restrictions/regulations and waive IFMA San Diego, its staff and Board of Directors, of all claims for personal injury or property damage that may arise from the event and/or use of the event facilities before, during or after the scheduled in-person event. I accept responsibility for my safety and the safety of all guests/participants, during and after our IFMA San Diego Chapter social event. In addition, if I feel ill in anyway, I will not attend.

- Facility Manager Only (One-time only) - complimentary
- Facility Manager - 2nd time attendee and beyond - $75 per person
- Vendor/Supplier - $75.00 per person (Register as a non-member and pay fee)
Colleagues & Non Members (Vendors & Suppliers) - $75 per person
Virtual Attendees - complimentary

Non Member Fee: Membership, in IFMA and the San Diego Chapter, is on an individual basis (not by company). Therefore, to be considered a member and not charged to attend meeting/events, you (individually) have to be listed in the chapter membership records. These records are provided to us by IFMA Headquarters. Any discrepancies or changes must be resolved with the Membership Department at IFMA. Please contact them at 713-623-4362 or ifma@ifma.org

Cancellations: Due to rising catering costs, cancellations MUST be received a minimum of 24 hours in advance of the event to receive a full refund. Those making a reservation, but not attending the event/meeting (“No shows”) will be charged a $75 No-Show fee.
