Iowa ACEs 2022 Advocacy Overview 

This one-hour session will be an opportunity to learn about the priorities the Iowa ACEs Policy Coalition is advocating for during the 2022 Iowa Legislative Session and how you can engage leaders in understanding how these issues will improve the well-being of Iowa's kids and families. 

We'll cover the following: 

• The Iowa ACEs Policy Coalition's 2022 Legislative Agenda and the role nonprofit organizations can play in advocacy. 
  
  
• Talking points that communicate the importance of these issues with leaders.
  
  
• Opportunities to get involved in raising awareness and encouraging state leaders to focus on these priorities throughout session. 
  

You'll leave this learning event with a deeper understanding of how the ACEs movement is shifting to focus on the conditions families need to thrive, as well as tools and ideas you can use to elevate a new message about ACEs with decisionmakers that will improve outcomes in your community.
