CalVet Women Veterans Town Hall 

Join us virtually for our annual Town Hall meeting discussing the Division's goals for the upcoming year. This is also an opportunity for women veterans and stakeholders to ask questions and share ideas. This event is your chance to provide information on your organization's efforts to help the woman veteran community and/or insight on challenges and gaps in services regarding women veterans. We hold this event once every year and encourage all to help us help the women veteran community!

Meet Deputy Secretary Virginia Wimmer, CalVet Women Veterans Affairs

Virginia Wimmer was appointed on August 24, 2021, by Governor Gavin Newsom as Deputy Secretary for Women Veterans Affairs at the California Department of Veterans Affairs. Prior to her appointment, Wimmer was the Deputy Director of Veterans Services and the County Veterans Service Officer at the San Joaquin County Health Care Services Agency since 2014.
