PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

To provide an understanding of possible fire hazards around the home only a daily and seasonal basis. To also furnish a means to determine and eliminate such hazards which may be found.

OBJECTIVES

• Understand the various types of home fire hazards.
• Describe the home fire hazard inspection considerations.
• Describe how changes in the home environment may contribute to potential fire hazards.
• Understand the need to possess and be trained on fire extinguishers depending upon the identified hazards.
• Describe aspects of the importance of a home fire evacuation/escape plan
