It is time for NYS to decriminalize mental illness and that begins with implementing a 988 number to replace 911 to use in a mental health crisis.

The 9-8-8 legislation signed by Governor Hochul does not include a funding stream. 988 can only be successful if it is fully funded. Sign-on to be kept up to date on 988 advocacy.
