Pre-Adoption Consultation 

The Barker Adoption Foundation seeks to support all individuals and couples who are exploring adoption from the beginning of their process, all the way through post adoption.  General information meetings are held monthly, at no cost, and are open to anyone interested in learning more about adoption.  Families also have access to program staff via phone to answer questions.

Prospective applicants who are seeking a more in-depth one-on-one meeting are welcome to sign up and pay for an adoption consultation session with our Domestic and/or International Program staff here.  Consultations cost $165 and provide families with up to one hour of meeting time to explore various adoption topics.  These consultation meetings are highly informative and are often key to helping individuals and couples determine if adoption is the right family building path for them.

*Pre-Adoption Consultations are conducted on a digital platform. All registrants will receive the video conferencing information in the email used for registration. Please contact us no later than 24 hours before the consultation if you do not receive your login information.
