COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures for In-Person Training

To reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19, we are taking the following measures:

Social distancing: We ask that you show respect for one another's safety preference while attending training.

Face masks: We strongly encourage individuals who are not yet vaccinated, or not yet fully vaccinated to continue wearing a mask while in attendance. For individuals who are fully vaccinated/boostered, if you prefer, you may continue to wear a mask.

Hand hygiene:  We are frequently washing our hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.  We ask that participants attending our in-person courses do the same.  We will also have alcohol-based hand sanitizer available in the classroom.

Cleaning and disinfecting: We are using EPA-registered disinfection products to disinfect frequently touched surfaces such as door handles, light switches, tables, and training equipment.

Symptom Monitoring:  For the health and safety of training participants and staff, we ask that if you present any of these symptoms, like coughing, sneezing, runny nose, or fever or been in contact with someone who has had these symptoms or any suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, please do not attend the scheduled training. Please notify us via email to Pamela.D.Phillips@uth.tmc.edu.  We will apply your registration fee to a future course.

While the guidelines set forth to protect your health and safety are constantly evolving, so will our response to it. Our team continues to monitor and follow recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local health officials, and UTHealth.  If we need to cancel an in-person course, we will fully refund your registration fee.
