The Transportation Club of Seattle 12 January Virtual Lunch and Learn meeting

Good day, Everyone.

Hope you had a very nice holiday. The Club is excited about 2022 but due to a few issues, we have decided to do a virtual meeting in January. This will be a week from today, on 12 January at 1200 hrs. Register now and a link will be sent out to you next Tuesday.

We are excited to have our very own Jeff Clark, our incoming President and Vice President, Final Mile, UniGroup as our guest speaker. Last Mile, you ask?? Just sign up for the virtual meeting and find out all about this exciting concept.

Jeff Clark was born in Lincoln, Nebraska in 1958, and raised in Portland, Oregon. He attended the University of Oregon, in Eugene, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double-major in Journalism and Finance. For the last 39 years Jeff has earned his living in the Transportation business, with roles at Ryder Truck Rental, Interstate Distributor, Landstar, and Schneider. Jeff currently serves as Vice President of Final Mile at UniGroup. Jeff is married to Gail and they have two sons (Patrick and Michael) and a daughter-in-law (Laura). And a cat named Jasper. When Jeff isn’t focused on the world of transportation he enjoys golfing and flying single engine airplanes.

A little housekeeping.

We are going to a Membership renewal program for all in January rather than throughout the year. It will end up being painless for everyone but bear with us this year and we will get through it. Also, if you know someone that should be a Member, please let me know or just get them to sign up.

Secondly, even though we are virtual, we are selling raffle tickets that benefit the Scholarship Program and are looking for raffle items for the event so if you have anything , just let me know.
