After the AGM, there will be a Presentation on the “Current State of the Construction Industry” by Jeremy Power at Cotney Law. 

This presentation will provide a synopsis of the supply chain crisis, with a particular focus on how it can be managed effectively in the short and long term.  The presentation will be divided into three parts:

1)    An examination of the root causes of the global supply chain crisis.

2)    How stakeholders can actively manage their existing contractual                   obligations.

3)    How to effectively prepare for ongoing disruptions as a result of supply           disruption. 

A question and answer period will follow the presentation.

Jeremy Power is an attorney with Cotney Canada. Cotney provides legal and consulting services specifically tailored to construction industry and roofing industry professionals. Jeremy joined Cotney in 2020, coming from a top-ranked boutique commercial real estate firm, and opened Cotney’s first Canadian office out of Toronto. Jeremy practices corporate and commercial law with a focus on construction and he is a member of the Ontario, Alberta, and Nova Scotia Law Societies.
