Who Should Attend

Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors, Creative Arts Therapists, Marriage and Family Therapists, and any professional that is working in the mental health field. 

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will be able to define burnout, how it presents in clinicians, and how to process this experience
  • Participants will be able to identify how and why burnout begins
  • Participants will be able to identify and apply strategies to work through emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion

What are the causes of burnout and how does it impact the mind and body? This workshop will explore burnout, its causes and effects, as well as the impact of COVID-19 on clinicians and their experience of burnout, including ways it has changed and amplified these feelings. Strategies to work through burnout will be discussed.

About the Presenter


Saadia Yunus is a licensed marriage and family therapist, trauma specialist, motivational speaker, and community leader. She earned her Master's degree in marriage and family therapy summa cum laude from Hofstra University in New York. She has 10+ years of experience working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. Her passion is to engage with people on a personal level to uplift them into discovering the best version of themselves. In addition to therapy, she achieves this through motivational and trauma-informed presentations and workshops throughout the country.
