As part of Plant Natives 2022! the Tennessee Valley Chapter of Wild Ones will be back in person for its annual native plant Symposium.
This year, the Symposium will be offered both in person and virtually. Five outstanding speakers will provide presentations to educate and inspire home gardeners and landscape professionals:
- W. Gary Smith, author of From Art to Landscape: Unleashing Creativity in Garden Design.
- Tradd Cotter, author of Organic Mushroom Farming and Mycoremediation.
- Dr. Bodie Pennisi from the University of GA.
- Dr. Andrea Ludwig from the University of Tennessee
- Claudio Vazquez, co-founder of Izel Native Plants.

In person attendees
For those attending in person, sign in at the registration tables on the morning of March 12th at the UTC University Center, 2nd Floor Auditorium. Throughout the day, there will be an opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by the author(s). Lunch will be provided. We will be following UTC's policy regarding the Covid-19 requirements.
Virtual attendees
For those registrants who choose the virtual option, the web sign-in link for the Symposium will be emailed in the days preceding the event. A Symposium Program document with other downloadable resources will also be available. The Zoom webinar format will be used for this seminar. Your video will not be visible to other registrants, and your microphone will be muted. You will be able to ask questions to the speaker(s) by typing into the Q&A box. If you are new to Zoom, please download Zoom software to your desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile device in advance.
Presentation Recordings
All presentations will be recorded and available to ALL paid registrants after the Symposium.

All registrations after March 5th will be $85.00.
