Attend a virtual workshop to improve communication and networking skills via Twitter. Invited guest speaker Mike Young will lead a hands-on training during which you can learn how to leverage Twitter to network, share accomplishments, attract collaborations, build your niche and foster career growth.

Prior to the meeting, please complete the following:
- Respond to a one-question survey.
- Download the Twitter app and create an account using the instructions attached.
- Due to cybersecurity risks, access to Twitter is restricted while on MD Anderson’s campuses. Access Twitter from home or, while on our campuses, with a personal mobile device using either a cellular plan or through MD Anderson’s guest Wi-Fi.
- Think of a specific goal in your research life for the next year. It needs to be something that can be tied into some outreach, communication, or networking on social media. It could be a paper coming out, a conference you are going to, a milestone that you plan to pass. The idea is that this workshop will help you achieve this goal.
