THE HOTEL NEEDS THE "FINAL" COUNT MONDAY APRIL 18TH!!
From the Heart of a mom ...
“The privilege of coming to the conference was not only a ‘spiritual spa’ for my broken heart, but it was also a turning point in my journey of grief over the loss of my child. The testimonies to God’s healing touch in the lives of the speakers and the moms who shared radiated from their hearts through their faces, their words, and their generous acts of kindness and comfort. I went home renewed, refreshed and rejoicing because I saw real, live survivors of a pain that most people cannot even imagine! God was in that place touching each of us moms with His “earth angels” from Umbrella Ministries.”

Dear precious mother,
We want to welcome you with open arms and hearts to a weekend filled with love, comfort, hope, peace and encouragement. Mom to Mom - Heart to Heart.
The speakers and workshop leaders share insights on grief and coping tools. At the conferences, the moms on the same journey are able to give and receive comfort from one another with times of sharing, caring, bonding and the making of lasting friendships.
Plus, the conference is a special time celebrating and remembering our children through a beautiful candlelight program and creating treasured memories honoring them.
Joe Knight, Musician, Author, and Founder of KNIGHTsong ministries, Joe and his loving wife Shaunda share a powerful message of hope to hurting people nationwide. Their ministry is born from the loss of their son to cancer in his third year of Bible College. They have rescued a multitude of grieving moms and dads on their journey of grief through Umbrella Ministries. There are no words to express what a blessing Joe is helping bereaved parents celebrate their precious children through worship music, encouraging messages, and memorable candle lighting programs.
Jana Alayra, Christian singer-songwriter whose upbeat children’s songs are performed in churches nationwide. The car Jana was driving that killed her little 4-year-old daughter Lynnie was life-changing for her. She emerged from it with a stronger sense of her faith and with a new mission in reaching out to children and adults. “The faith I sing about is even more real because a part of me is already in heaven. If I can bring the blessing of comfort to someone who is grieving, then I consider it a unique privilege.”

The Journey through Forgiveness
Forgiveness is sometimes misunderstood. It’s not about rushing our grief journey but is an important part in the healing process. Often, we are dealing with guilt, the “what if’s”, other people and God, constantly reliving the events that caused the loss of our child.
