The Southern Ontario Chapter of IIBEC is hosting its first National Women and Student Building Sciences Forum to bring awareness to this sector. The 3 hour virtual forum will provide everyone with a highlight of the diverse and exciting careers available in the building envelop industry.
Everyone is invited:
  • Everyone: Find out how you can advocate and promote talented women and students in your organization.
  • Women: Learn about the many roles for more women at all levels in the industry.
  • Students: Gain insight on an exciting career destination in construction.

 THE FORUM

This event will consist of a panel of experts, describing their challenges, experiences, and career paths.  It will also have a breakout session for everyone to engage in small groups with the experts. Attending this forum will allow you to meet different professionals in the Building Sciences sector who share diverse backgrounds and experiences.  Also, we will be giving away one or two bursaries to eligible students who are studying Building Sciences.

Students attending the forum may apply for a one-time bursary courtesy of Artistic Skylight Domes. It will be available for one to two students from $1500 to $4000, depending on the number of applicants.

Applications must be submitted by March 23rd, 2022 to Betty Quan at bquan@tcaconnect.com
