SAME Los Angeles and Orange County Posts present the Annual Breakfast with the Chief Event

We are excited to announce that we have a new date for the Breakfast with the Chief event. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked to reschedule this event. Please note, that if you registered for the event previously, you do not need to re-register. If you have any questions or concerns regarding registration you may contact our Programs Chair.

Please note the following requirement from the venue for COVID-19 protocols.

Please be prepared to provide photo identification and proof of full COVID-19 vaccination at the registration table. US Army Corps of Engineers South Pacific Division

Col. Antoinette R. Gant is the Commander and Division Engineer of South Pacific Division (SPD), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The Division, which is headquartered in San Francisco, is one of nine USACE regional commands. With five District offices in Albuquerque, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Sacramento, and San Francisco; SPD encompasses all or part of ten states. As the SPD Commander and Division Engineer, Gant oversees hundreds of water resource development and military design and construction projects that bring value to our communities, our Nation and our warfighters.

63rd Commander, Los Angeles District

Col. Julie A. Balten is the 63rd commander of the Los Angeles District. With more than 23 years of active service, she leads 746 military and civilian personnel operating in a 226,000-square-mile area of California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah. She is responsible for a $750 million annual budget for planning, engineering, construction, asset management, regulatory, emergency management and environmental services for three Army and eight Air Force installations, inter-agency and international customers, and the nation’s civil water resources infrastructure in the Southwest, and a current value of assets worth $240 million.
