Re:Spirit

April 25-27

Registration is OPEN - Link below!

Registration CLOSES March 16 / Max Capacity of 80

NONWWA Synod Rostered Ministers, Mission Developers & Interns:

You are invited to a time of re-connection and renewal, designed to re-kindle the Spirit both within us and made manifest in community.  As we all learn how to navigate this era of chaos and disruption, join your fellow rostered leaders as we seek to re-ground ourselves in God’s holy, guiding presence

Our time together will be enriched by holistic wellness coach Leigh Ann Wolfe of Living Well and spiritual director Rev. Denise Easter of Renewal Ministries Northwest.

As we convene in person for the first time in two years, we will be following recommended safety guidelines, including single rooms for all, which the synod will help subsidize. (Note: double rooms for couples will be available!) Seabeck requires proof of vaccination for all guests, so plan to bring a paper or digital copy of your vaccination record. For those unable to be vaccinated, please contact the synod office for testing options.

Check in time will be 11am on Monday, April 25 (check out time is 11am on Wednesday, April 27)

For those unable to gather in person, we will offer a one day online option, Tuesday April 26, from 9am-4pm. This day will center on reviving our personal connection to Spirit through a deeper understanding of contemplative, listening prayer and living out that connection in the practice of spiritual discernment.

Registration will open March 1 and close March 16. Please complete registration and send payment by April 14. Please note: room assignments will be made based on date of registration/receipt of payment.

Cost, including program, housing, and meals from Monday lunch through Wednesday breakfast.

  • NO MORE single rooms in the new buildings - sorry!
  • Single Room w/Shared Bath Down Hall – in the older buildings - $275
  • ONLINE option – TUESDAY ONLY - $50

MORE DETAILS

Are there scholarships available?  YES. Scholarships will be available through the Bishop’s Caring Fund. Please email susan@lutheransnw.org BEFORE registering. You will then receive information on how to proceed with registration.

May I make a donation toward offsetting the subsidy the synod is paying to ensure single rooms for all? YES. There will be a section on the registration form where you may add a donation in $25 increments. (THANK YOU!)

Will dietary restrictions be accommodated?  YES. The good folks at Seabeck offer four special diets: vegetarian, vegan, non-celiac gluten free, dairy free - or a combination of any/all of these. Please indicate which diet(s) you may need on the registration form. There is a guest fridge for our use if you need to supplement your meal outside of these menu designations. If you have allergies the kitchen should be made aware of, please email that info to susan@lutheransnw.org.

May my spouse join me?  YES! Please register and pay for your spouse as an additional participant when registering.

What is our schedule? We will post the schedule (and other updates) here: www.lutheransnw.org/events/bishops-convocation

I have never been to Seabeck! Check out their website at www.seabeck.org.

We look forward to seeing you in April!
