Economic Justice: Implications for Domestic Violence Advocacy and Prevention

Join ODVN and NNEDV for this enlightening training about economic justice and wage equity. Participants will understand and learn the importance of economic justice in domestic violence advocacy and identify strategies to promote economic justice and financial empowerment for survivors on micro and macro levels.
The training will highlight current state and national efforts to promote economic justice for domestic violence survivors, including the findings of ODVN’s extensive prevention project on Wage equity and Other Worker Supports (WOWS). This training will also address considerations for economic justice as a prevention strategy to reduce the risk of perpetration and victimization. Domestic violence advocates, preventionists, and program managers alike are welcome and will benefit from this important training event.

Cost: Free for ODVN Members (ODVN Member Program or Individual/Organizational Membership); $25 for Non-ODVN Members. ***Note: If paying by check, please include the name of the training on the memo line.
CEUs: To obtain 2.5 CEUs, you are required to attend the entire training and complete the evaluation. When you go to register, please include your complete license number if you are a licensed counselor or social worker in Ohio.
