Join Ben Hanuka on Tuesday, April 5, for a discussion of the professional obligations of lawyers when giving Franchise Independent Legal Advice (ILA) Certificates.  This webinar will examine the main scenarios in the franchise relationship when a lawyer is called upon to provide an ILA: in a franchise purchase transaction and in the settlement of a franchise dispute.

 

The webinar will also examine relevant aspects of the lawyer-client terms of engagement and scope of review and limitation periods under the relevant provincial franchise legislation.
