Crevice Garden Design With Kenton Seth - a Method for the Low-Water, Native Plant and Wildlife Welcoming Garden

Also offered: Hands-On Crevice Workshop with Kenton Seth on April 24th (separate registration required, see links below).

Explore crevice gardens with Kenton Seth, crevice garden design expert. Learn to grow native plants closely with rocks, creating special microclimates for plants and wildlife. Crevice gardens give low-water design a new element, dealing with awkward garden spaces or making plantable, ecological alternatives to retaining walls.

During the virtual program, Kenton will share historic and creative examples along with demonstrating the ecological benefits of crevice gardening in Colorado.

Watching his beloved desert become drier and seeing the Colorado River in his hometown flow weaker is what ensnared Kenton Seth to a lifetime committed to sustainable garden design including creating crevice gardens. For Kenton, crevice gardens evoke the spirit of the Rockies and host plants and animals that prefer life among rocks.

Kenton's bookThe Crevice Garden: How to Make the Perfect Home for Plants from Rocky Placesis due out in August 2022
