How much do you think you know about cultural and religious diversity?
With the return of international students and the rebound of international education in 2022, this is the best time to upskill yourself to ensure returning international students feel welcome and understood and enjoy the best experience Western Australia can offer.
Join us for this special event that will bring together expert practitioners who will share their insights on cultural and religious diversity and working with students from different backgrounds.
We will hear about three major faiths – Islam, Hindu and Sikh. Presenters will be covering general background and focusing on the resultant implications for attitudes and behaviours. Finally, the Panel of presenters will answer your burning questions.
This seminar will provide participants with an understanding of ‘Culture’ and an introduction to these faiths. Takeaways will include tips and advice on what you need to understand when working with students from these different backgrounds.
