Adults with disabilities and their families often work hard to pursue employment opportunities, determine how work will affect public benefits, and make independent living arrangements.
But how do you bring all these things together? How can a person figure out how much they'll need to earn from a job (considering any impact on their benefits) in order to afford to live the life they want? If the person's current finances won't support their ultimate life goal, how can they plan intermediate steps toward their living and career goals?
This "live case study" features a current ILO participant and her family as they plan for her future employment and living arrangements.
