2021-22 Wise Webinar Series:

Harnessing Vision, Values, High Expectations

& Belief at Any Age

In this session presenters Joanna Blanchard and Emily Harris will highlight the value of utilizing processes such as Person Centered Planning to meet a person and their team where they are to Dream Big and create movement. Presenters will explore stories and tools about how the value of belief and setting the framework for high expectations should start from the very beginning with families, teams, and people. You can be empowered to shift your thinking about the people you work with and yourself. This session will help you think about your role in this process and how to be prepared to see the ways people already bring value in any situation.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand your influence when working with teams/ people to foster belief, and the value of starting early on a person’s path to success in their community.
  • Understand how to use Person Centered Planning tools to think about client identity early on and how you can support them to move towards their goals.
  • Tools and ideas for enlisting families and teams as valuable resources in an employment planning process.
