Navigating Intercultural Workplace Dynamics 

Part 1: Creating Culturally Competent People

This session will introduce key definitions of a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) program and why DEI is critical to the success of an organization. Participants will identify why it is important for their companies and what a vision for inclusion looks like for them. Participants will explore a model for creating cultural sensitivity, cultural competence, and learn the five characteristics of culturally competent people.

Part 2: Cross-Cultural Communication

This session will explore the what, how, and why of unconscious bias. The session will examine the paradigms of unconscious bias and communication style differences with an interactive training exercise focused on cross-cultural communication.
