SEMINAR TOPICS
Work Restrictions From Hiring to Firing
We will examine and discuss the impact of restrictions from an ADA, FMLA, and worker’s compensation perspective. This will include how each law interacts with the others and how to handle restrictions at different points during employment.
Legal Update: Labor, Employment and Worker’s Compensation
This presentation will address the recent developments in labor, employment and worker’s compensation law, including case law and legislative updates.
Managing the Millennial Workforce
This presentation will highlight the issues, trends and best practices associated with managing and retaining Millennial employees (ages 25-40), now the nation’s largest workforce demographic. From an employment perspective, we will discuss compliance areas most impacted by Millennial workers, such as remote work, confidentiality/social media, and diversity and inclusion issues. From a worker’s compensation perspective, we will discuss common scenarios and workplace injuries involving younger and Millennial workers, including mental health claims, remote work, off-premises events, misconduct, and more.
This seminar is pending approval for CLE credits.
