2022 Spring Statewide Training

Please join us for the Spring Statewide Training which will be held April 13-15, 2022, at Margaritaville Lake Resort. This conference will, as usual, feature programs of interest to Missouri prosecutors and assistant prosecutors, including case law, ethics, and elimination of bias hours. 

In addition to our regular conference agenda, we WILL be offering a child support track this year.  Please see the agenda that was included in the announcement email for details.  You may choose to attend this track only for a reduced registration fee.

Also, for the first time, we will be hosting a Prosecutor Wellness track on Thursday afternoon.  Again, you can find the agenda in the announcement email.  This session will be limited to 20 people and offered on a first come, first served basis.  If you would like to attend this breakout track, please register for the conference as usual.  THEN, send an email to me at Susan.Glass@prosecutors.mo.gov to reserve your spot.  Your spot in this track will not be secure until you email me.  Only those who register for the main conference are eligible to attend this session.    

Registration fees:
MAPA Members (includes all elected prosecutors, assistant prosecutors, and investigators for whom MAPA dues have been paid, staff (other than assistant prosecutors and investigators) are also considered members if the elected/appointed prosecutor is current on dues, also includes Assistant Attorneys General): 
$300.00 per person

Non-MAPA Member (includes all elected prosecutors, assistants, and investigators for whom dues have NOT been paid, and everyone else):  
$431.22 per person

Child Support Only (includes ONLY the child support track on 4/13):
$100.00 per person

Be advised that some counties have recently encountered issues with payments being misdirected because the Missouri Association of Public Administrators also uses the MAPA acronym.  Please advise your treasurer (or whoever is issuing checks for your conference fees) to pay special attention that payments are being sent to the correct entity and address.

Please be advied that all registration fees, once received and processed, are NON-REFUNDABLE and cannot be applied to any future event.

Also, please be advised that you will receive a confirmation email once you have successfully completed the registration process.  If you did not receive this email, your registration(s) did not go through.  This email will serve as your invoice for the conference.  Please retain the email as no other invoice will be prepared or sent.

Accommodations:

Reservations must be made by Tuesday, March 22, to guarantee our rate and availability.  Please be advised that this is a hard deadline.  If you do not call by the cut-off date, it is likely that neither rooms nor our group rate will be available.  MAPA does not keep rooms on reserve and will not be able to help you get a room past the cut-off date. 

Also, be advised that any reservations made must be cancelled at least 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid fees and penalties if your plans change and you decide not to attend the conference.

COVID-19:
Although we are returning to a normal conference environment, both MAPA and Margaritaville are committed to conducting this event in the safest manner possible.  Please do not attend the conference or any events if you have had a recent fever or cough, if you feel sick, or if you are aware of recent exposure to a COVID positive person.  We appreciate your cooperation in keeping everyone as safe as possible while still enjoying an in-person event.
