As DDA continues to work towards achieving its goals of inclusion for people with developmental disabilities, it is pleased to announce the roll out of the DDA Rent Subsidy Program that will assist individuals with developmental disabilities to live where they choose.  In order to make this initiative successful, we need you, Housing Support Specialists, to take part in this Webinar via Zoom where you will be provided in-depth program information.
As a result of this training, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the process for determining final eligibility and approval as a program participant
  • Assist program participants with locating housing and obtaining unit approval from the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development
  • Assist participants with ongoing recertification and successful tenancy
Speakers:
  • Stephanie M. Jones, M.P.A., DDA Director of Innovation
  • Diane L. Dressler, Senior Associate, Community Life Resources
The training will be conducted via Zoom.  Click below to register.
Note that there is no fee to attend this training.
