Long View Hackathon 2022

What is a hackathon? A hackathon is an event, where innovators, designers, developers, makers and self-proclaimed problem solvers come together to solve a business problem through creative solutions which include the use of automation and programmability.

Who: Open to all Long View team members and clients. If you are driven by the passion of creating in business, innovation or technology, you should join a hackathon. No development experience required.

What to Expect:

Join us for our training day (April 8) where you can join the sessions that fit your individual skill set.  We will have everything from what is an API up to some more advanced Python training for those with programming experience. Training will include how to develop API integrations with No-Code/Low-Code platforms, as well as topics within application development and Infrastructure as Code.

The week following the training we will create teams to prepare for the hackathon. The Hackathon scenarios will be released on April 18 and teams will work together to create their solution.  There will be 3 categories of competition:

  1. Codeless Challenge – Low code/No-Code solutions
  2. Coding Challenge – full code integration solutions
  3. Lab Challenge – just getting started, this will be a great challenge for you to learn more about programmability and automation

Final Presentations will be made on April 25th with judging and awards the same day.

Bring your own team or register as an individual and we’ll get you connected to a team.
