Sow What Journey at Hope Farms

$150 per Scout

 

Scouts will engage in hands-on farm work and cooking classes designed to facilitate deeper understanding of how and where food is grown, processed, distributed, consumed and wasted. The program will present valuable culinary experience and socio-economic knowledge of the food industry while interweaving the framework for scouts to complete the three steps needed to earn the Harvest Award after completing the journey.

Ultimately, scouts will possess the skills to make informed food-related decisions.
