Powers Marine Park: Invasive Ivy Removal Event Part 2

WHAT: Spring For Your River with Willamette Riverkeeper and Portland Parks & Rec for an insive English ivy removal event at Powers Marine Park in SW Portland! 

WHERE: Take caution with parking! Parking is located on the eastern shoulder of SW Macadam Ave. If you are driving to the site from the north, this will require you to do a U-turn or turn right into the neighborhood to loop back around. Please look for white sandwich board signs. We will meet at Powers Marine Park on SW Macadam Ave, just south of the Sellwood Bridge.

WHEN: Tuesday, May 10 from 9 - 11am

DETAILS: Please pack along water, work gloves if you have them and sturdy close toed shoes. We will provide trash bags, non-latex gloves and trash pickers. A porta-potty will be on site.

Our group will be working on a variety of terrain, including paved and an uneven hillside. Stairs are required to access our work area. This is an all ages event.

We will be working at this site on May 6 and May 10. You are welcome to join one or both work parties!
