A CONTINUING EDUCATION PROJECT WET WORKSHOP FOR PRE K-12 EDUCATORS
Created as a follow up to "Forests to Faucets: Aurora's Water Resources" this workshop focuses on protecting our water. Learn more about conservation, water pollution prevention and climate change. Walk away with the nationally recognized Project WET(Water Education for Teachers) Curriculum Guide, ProjectWET Climate Resilience Booklet, a better understanding of the impact water has on our community and access to innovative educational opportunities provided by the Aurora Water and Aurora Parks, Recreation and Open Space Departments.

- Be prepared for walking and a short bike ride
- Limited Attendance and Pandemic PrecautionsAll required precautions at the time of the workshop will be in place. Most workshop activities will be conducted outside. The maximum number of participants will be 18 and may be decreased if needed. Acceptance will be on afirst come, first served basis, so apply early.

Workshop will provide 8 hours of professional development and a certificate at completion.
Earn .5 semester hours ofgraduate/re-certification credit from the Colorado School of Mines FREE!
Aurora Water will cover the tuition cost forteachers who teach within the city of Aurora.
