This camp features a number of timeless art making skills which involve employing groups of inanimate objects and various media to form an array of exciting art pieces!  Campers will learn the importance of creating a good support base and assuring archival quality in their work as well as acquire knowledge about how to select the right materials, glues, and solvents to execute a solid work of art!  Focuses are on the elements of three-dimension, color theory, and collage and materials will include a wide range of art media like paint, clay, paper, etc.  Campers will also love the freedom and energy of the studio environment as they engage in these activities which are proven to stimulate young minds as well as old!  *FULL-DAY(ERS) WILL TAKE HOME:  1 Air-Dry Clay Aztec Sun Sculpture, 1-2 Eric Carle Inspired Textured Sun and Moon Art pieces, 1-2 origami pieces, 1 Celestial Suncatcher Mobile, and various mixed media works.


*All camps are recommended for ages 7-13 and are held from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily (Lunch not provided).  Discounts are available to full-day registrants with friends or siblings! Please contact the studio for more information.

 Guest Artist, Alice Lucas


Residing in Gray with her husband and daughter, Alice is a business owner and veteran homeschooling mom. She thrives in a creative environment and enjoys trying new mediums. While she has a degree in business mgt, Alice has worked in community theater as both an actor and set design assistant, dabbled in acrylics, paper arts, and mixed media, voraciously reads, and loves to share her joy of learning with others. She is excited to see where this journey takes her and to meet lovely families along the way.

*MOMAC Summer Art Camp is designed to allow campers to experiment with an array of artistic methods and media.  Each week of camp is packed with fun right-brain activities and focuses on a different art medium.  Each week also features a professional guest artist who will share his or her art expertise!  Snacks and water will be provided by MOMAC Studio.
