Shared Services & Regional Solutions Workshop
The increasing cost of capital improvement projects and operations along with excess capacity is driving more communities to consider shared services and regional solutions.
We’ll explore ideas and examples to share equipment, personnel, and infrastructure. We'll discuss how to look for opportunities and challenge participants to think outside the box in brainstorming solutions. We will also address how to anticipate and overcome hurdles, develop fair contracts, and how to be a good partner in sharing, providing or receiving services across boundaries.
Registration and early networking over a continental breakfast will start at 8:30 am. Training will begin at 9:00 am. A lunch buffet will be offer from 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm.
This training offers 4.0 drinking water and wastewater "Other" contact hours.
