Event Background & Description
The Credit Union Association of New Mexico created "CUshine," the country's first statewide employee resource group for LGBTQ+/allies, in March 2022.
The affinity group is working to create growth and development opportunities within NM's credit union movement.
CUANM's inaugural event, Let's CUshine, features special guest Madam Nymphadora in her first appearance in New Mexico. Madam will inspire and entertain as she performs fan-favorites Defying Gravity, RESPECT, and more while telling their story about why empathy matters in credit unions. Guests are treated to two beverages of their choice and snacks.
Let's CUshine will raise funds for homeless youth and include a panel discussion by well-respected credit union leaders:
