Spring for Your River!
Corvallis: Crystal Lake to Michael's Landing (WATER-based / BYOB)

WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper, Benton Soil & Water Conservation District, and the City of Corvallis Parks team to Spring For Your River with a paddling cleanup effort from Crystal Lake to Michael's Landing. This is a "bring your own boat" event, but we can save a seat in a raft for you if you don't have a boat. Limited space, please reserve your seat in registration, PFD included!

WHEN & WHERE: Friday, May 6th, 9:00am - 1:00pm. Please be on time to meet up at Crystal Lake Boat Ramp. We will work together to shuttle vehicles, review a safety briefing, and head downstream from there.

DETAILS: Please dress for the weather and bring water, work gloves (if you have them) and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. PFDs are required and must be worn at all times on the river to participate in this event. You should be proficient in paddling in Class I-II moving water.

QUESTIONS? Reach out to event coordinator, Michelle Emmons at michelle@willametteriverkeeper.org.

FOR FUN: Trash or Treasure? You decide! Did you find something unusual, unique, or just plain weird? Post your favorite photos from your cleanup experience to social media between April 22-May 25, 2022 with #SpringforYourRiver or feel free to submit to info@willametteriverkeeper.org for a chance to win a prize!
