Riverfest Weekend - Parade Sign-Up 

Plans are in motion for the 2022 Windom Riverfest celebration, June 6 – 12. Windom Riverfest is a community-based, volunteer-planned event, held during the second full weekend of June. Our community festival includes the Miss Riverfest pageant, fireworks, family-friendly activities, food, beer gardens, sports events, dances, entertainment, craft show, grand parade, antique car show, turtle races, and much, much more.

The Parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 11 at 6:00 p.m., with line-up beginning at 4:00 p.m. The Riverfest theme this year is “Back to the River,” in which we’ll be hosting most events at Island Park and the Town Square. The Parade route will start at the fair grounds and head toward the Town Square. All participants are responsible for providing their own vehicle. 

This year’s fees are as follows:

• $25 - Nonprofit, community group, and Chamber Members
• $50 - Business, commercial, and political entries
• FREE – Parade entry is included in Riverfest sponsorship levels

Ensure that your entry form is completely filled out, even if you are a Riverfest sponsor. Forms and payment are due May 15 to the Chamber of Commerce. Prompt sign-up ensures that your line-up spot is secured.

You will receive your parade line-up number and final instructions via email in early June. Any units not registered by that date will be charged a late fee and placed at the end of the parade, as space allows.
